I had the pleasure of meeting Nik and Alpa Shroff of Brownie and Madam during a fabulous networking brunch at The Phoenix Hotel in San francisco. Not only did I get a chance to meet some amazing blogger ladies, I got to really hear the passion behind Nik and Alpa’s Story. As a girl who has worn glasses all her life, style is very important to me when it comes to what my frames look like.
Unfortunately, I don’t wear glasses for fashion, but when I am able to incorporate really cute frames in all of my outfits – it’s a win/win for me! I love that you’re able to meet with a stylist who caters to your needs and on your own time. Brownie and Madam send an optical stylist out to meet you and they bring all the frames to try in the comfort of… well, anywhere! I’ve always hated going to pick out glasses in a store and you have everyone else shopping, picking up what you put down and watch you stare at yourself in the mirror. For $185 (which is a fraction of what us four-eyed babes have to dish out) gets you a pair of stylish frames, polycarbonate lenses (prescription confirmation was TOO easy!), and ultraviolet, scratch-protective, and Anti-Reflective coatings.
This is my first pair of frames from Brownie and Madam and it will SURELY not be my last. The lenses are so clear and pretty I don’t even want to wear them. My last pair had a huge issue with easy smudging/scratching, and I can already tell these glasses will last me a very long time. I’ve always stuck to plastic frames, but the Clara glasses are a matte metal, with comfortable nose pads and EXTREMELY sturdy frames. And can we just take a second and talk about the cutest packaging around? From the case to the cards inside, everything was fully thought out and branded so nicely! Creative designer over here giving this a 2 thumbs up!
If you’re in the bay area and are in need of a fab pair of glasses OR sunnies, Brownie and Madam are definitely my new go-to’s, and should be yours too! Check their site here and let me know which pair you like best. ox, M
