Timbuk2 FEMME Launch Party + Commuter Style

Living and working in the East Bay, my commute might only be all but 12 minutes but I can totally appreciate a feminine and well thought out commuter bag that is both functional and chic. So I was stoked when Christina and I attended Timbuk2’s private launch party not too long ago where I got to see their new FEMME collection in person! We also got a behind-the-scenes look into the making of their bags where I learned they can have a bag made in 16 minutes… what?! The manufactory and warehouse that were filled with rows and rows of cool fabrics had me in awe. Which truly made me fall in love with their FEMME collection even more – they’re beautiful and carefully detailed for my work-to-event lifestyle. I found that I can easily throw a change of clothes, my iPad and makeup into it as I’m heading out the door. The small details like a faux fur phone pocket and tiny key holder had me at “hello!”

So when Timbuk2 asked me to not only style one of their backpacks but to HOST an event with my girls, Stacey and Christina – I was floored! I really love supporting local SF brands and think the new FEMME collection is nothing short of amazing. Click on to see more of my commuter style and to see how you can attend the event! – M

Please, please join me, Christina and Stacey as we kick off the launch of Timbuk2’s New FEMME collection. There will be Sake, sushi and MAJOR HUGS from me. I can’t wait to see you!
